Welcome to a typical day at the beach. Cloudy with drama, the familiar experiences unfold in slightly exaggerated ways, where the ordinary becomes charged with tension. Everyday moments are carefully staged within real-life surroundings, blurring the boundary between the natural and the performed, the real and the imagined.

Immigrants, wallflowers, artists, and outsiders drift through everyday spaces, learning the art of camouflage. They try to blend into the ordinary world, to pass unnoticed, to belong. But beneath the surface, their identities remain loud and uncontainable. The work captures this quiet conflict—the pull to disappear and the need to be seen—and the courage it takes to embrace one’s individuality.
