Valeriia Polishchuk is a Ukrainian-Canadian creative director with seven years of experience in the marketing, fashion, and film industries. Valeriia is a published multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller.
Raised by a single mother in a small town in Ukraine, she understood early on the importance of independence and the power of female voice. Valeriia began her artistic exploration while performing on stage at the local Art Community Center. Later, through traveling the world, she shaped her perspectives and gathered experiences—as an observer, a rebel, and a citizen of the world.
In her art, she explores the complexity of the human condition and challenges social stereotypes and norms—revealing layers of truth where boldness wins over perfection.
Valeriia’s visual language is often defined by a provocative and sarcastic take on life, relationships, self-identity, and culture. Working primarily in photography and film, she integrates unique fashion elements, bold colours, striking patterns, and cinematic framing.
Ultimately, her character development work investigates unconventional personalities and merges metaphorical realms with the realities of today, inviting the viewer to shift their perspective. Inspired by eccentric, fearless individuals, she draws creative energy from those who unapologetically embrace their true selves.
In the professional world, her narrative-driven work connects with the target audiences through unique visual content and cultural relevance. Valeriia pushes the boundaries of daily trends and reaches beyond to showcase each brand’s authentic identity.
